My name is Hannah and I am an anaesthetics speciality trainee working in the North West. I love being a doctor and still think the profession has a lot of offer, even with financial constraints on practice and increasingly complex shift patterns. I also think it’s a fantastic profession as woman but not without it challenges. Despite the eventual eradication of frank sexism, there is still a significant amount of gender bias. Globally, the gender climate is far from fair and I admire MWF and MWIA’s work on this.
Outside of medicine I am a keen runner and hiking enthusiast with a love for getting people outside. If I am not at work I am often found roaming the Peaks, Lakes or Pennine moors.
