Professor Farah Bhatti is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Council Member of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, where she is also Chair of the Women in Surgery Forum.
She trained at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and has an MD in Transplantation. She is passionate about teaching, training and equity of access for both patients and doctors.
She is on the Wales Specialty Training Committee for Cardiothoracic Surgery, on the Panel for National Selection into Cardiothoracic training and an Examiner for the FRCS(CTh). She is also the Equality, Diversity and Careers Lead for the Graduate Entry Medicine programme at Swansea University Medical School.
