The Medical Women’s Federation is stunned and saddened by the new report from Surviving in Scrubs with testimony from 150 healthcare workers who have experienced appalling sexual harassment and assault from co-workers. The report can be viewed here.
It is harrowing reading but highlights the need for the NHS to change. Their first recommendation is education for all staff and students on sexism and sexual misconduct for prevention, allyship and culture change. So MWF requests that this link is shared widely to educate others.
