The Medical Women’s Federation is very concerned that the cuts in USAID and in UK development funds will have a disproportionately negative impact on women’s health in the poorest countries of the world as these programmes fund reproductive healthcare, maternity services, HIV treatment and sexual health services for women in the world’s most deprived communities.
