The MWF Listening ear is an informal network of MWF volunteers that provides informal but confidential support and encouragement to MWF members who maybe experiencing difficulties in their profession.
This service is free of charge and open to all MWF members
Our volunteers offer listening ears when needed through regular confidential phone conversations with their member, acting as a support system within the provision of our MWF Guidelines.
Volunteer are expected to
- Keep conversations confidential
- Inform MWF if there any concerns
- Undergo regular evaluation by MWF
- Work within the MWF listening ear framework
Kindly note that this is not a counselling service, and we are unable to offer any advice. However, our volunteers will be able to signpost you to appropriate organisations that offer advice.
