Katherine Branson Essay Competition - Open!

 

Submission deadline: Sunday 6th March 2022 at midnightPrize:  £100 Open to:  All Medical Students

Submit a 600- 800 word essay on any of the following questions:

  • COVID-19 has thrown a stark light on inequalities in healthcare. What are the challenges that we face and how can we tackle these to move towards a more diverse and inclusive society, that is fit for the future?   
  • Women are advancing in the workforce, yet unique challenges are faced by various communities. What are the challenges faced by women of colour and how can we tackle these?

 Please note: competition entry for MWF members is free of charge and non-members will be charged £5 to enter at the point of submission. Junior Doctor Prize - Closed!

The MWF's annual junior doctor prize invites junior doctors to submit a creative piece, either prose or artistic on a selected title. We encourage video submissions, paintings, sculptures, cartoons, songs or anything that might showcase your creative talents! 

The winning entry will win £100!

You do not have to be an MWF member to enter this prize... but for £35 a year you might as well become one!
