Council Vacancies
We are inviting nominations for Council Members to take office at the end of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 16th May 2025, for a 3-year term of office (2025 – 2028). Council members are needed in the following regions:
· West Midlands
· Yorkshire and Humber
· North East
· South West
· Scotland East
· Wales
· North West
· South East
Nominees must be proposed and seconded by two MWF members. Please fill in this google form to apply for the role.

If there is more than one candidate, ballot papers will be sent out to the MWF membership in your region to elect to the post. Council members will be sent a copy of your brief personal statement.
Eligibility: Please note Council members positions are open to all qualified doctors and we would very much like to encourage enthusiastic members to apply, for any one of the above positions. If you do not know of any MWF members to propose your application, please contact central office.

4. Postgraduate doctor Representatives
We are inviting applications for Post Graduate Doctor Representatives to take office at the end of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2025, for a 3-year term of office (2025 – 2028). Please note, these roles are not council positions. Representatives are needed in the following regions:
· London
· East Midlands
· West Midlands
· Yorkshire and Humber
· Scotland
· Wales

5. Social Media Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers who will be able to help MWF update our social media accounts including Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Facebook. If you have experience with these platforms, please consider applying.
