It is with regret that we are writing to inform you that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel our Spring Conference 2022 which was due to take place on the 22nd April 2022 at the Mary Ward House in London. We have acted in response to concerns from members and speakers about the rising COVID-19 cases and the effects on staff sickness, hospital admissions and difficulty taking annual or study leave. Given the length of the planned conference, we do not feel that holding a virtual meeting instead would be appropriate as this requires members to take a full day off of work when cases are expected to be very high.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause you and we look forward to welcoming you at our MWF Autumn Conference on the 18th November 2022 in Nottingham.
