MWF are supportive of the junior doctors in their concern about the imposition of a new junior doctor contract. The mandate provided by the ballot announcement shows the strength of feeling amongst doctors in training about the proposed contract. MWF have raised concerns about the discriminatory nature of the proposal. We welcome the BMA offer to return to negotiations with NHS Employers, mediated by ACAS and urge the Secretary of State for Health to agree.
