MWF Statement - Women's Health Targets are Under Threat

MWF is extremely disappointed to learn that women’s health targets are under threat. A target which planned to establish a women’s health hub in every region of England has not been renewed in the NHS Planning Guidance for 2025/2026. Women’s Health Hubs mean that women can access services, such as smears and gynaecological issues, all in one place. These hubs improve access to women’s healthcare and are essential to addressing health inequalities. MWF are concerned about the long-term impact this may have on women and women doctors.
