Council Vacancies 

We are inviting nominations for Council Members to take office after the next council meeting, for a three-year term of office. Council members are needed in the following regions:

  • East Midlands
  • West Midlands
  • North East
  • North West
  • South West
  • Scottish Eastern
  • Scottish Western

 

We are also inviting nominations for the positions of:

  • MWF Editor of Medical Woman

The details of the next MWF Council meeting will be confirmed in due course. This meeting is open to all members who are welcome to attend as observers.  

Nominees must be proposed and seconded (by an MWF Member) using the nomination form here. Eligibility: Please note Council members positions are open to all qualified doctors and we would very much like to encourage enthusiastic members to apply, for any one of the above positions.

  1. Co-opted Members of Council Vacancies:

 

MWF is looking to appoint one further Co-opted Member to Council in order to strengthen the breadth of experience and skills available to the MWF Officers team and Council as a whole. Co-opted members are expected to contribute their professional, specialist and general management skills to the MWF Officers team in a non-executive role, subject to the changing needs of the team.

  • WACUNA (Women’s Advisory Council to the United Nations)
  • Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, Flexible Working Committee
