What is Santa in the City?
Santa in the City is a festive 3.5km fun run through the city of London which will be taking place on two days, 4th December and 5th December 2024. Every adult runner is provided with a 5-piece Santa Suit (Hat, beard, jacket, trousers & belt), runner number & medal. The route is relatively flat and you are welcome to run, jog or walk.
There is also Santa in the City Tunbridge Wells (3km) which will be taking place on 07 December.
How can I get involved and raise funds for MWF?
MWF wants to raise funds for essential work so we can continue to support women doctors and medical students. The funds raised will help us to organise our national conference which is taking place in Cambridge on the 16th May. MWF conferences provide a supportive environment where medical minds can connect and share experiences. MWF has also recently reduced its membership fees to just £5 a year for students, £20 a year for doctors who are 1-4 years post qualification and £40 for those 5-8 Post Qualification. Raised funds will ensure we can keep membership fees low so we can support as many women as possible.
MWF have secured 10 charity places for the runs taking place on the 4th and 5th December. We would love to give these spaces away to our members or allies, in the hope that you will fundraise a minimum of £200 for the charity.
If you are interested in a space, please fill out the form here.
We encourage runners to set up a JustGiving page to fundraise for the run. To view the MWF page or to donate, please click here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/mwfsantainthecity
Runners can set up their own page and link it to the MWF Campaign.
