Honorary Secretary

We are inviting nominations for the position of Honorary Secretary to take office at the end of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2023. To view the job description, click here.

  • Nominees must be proposed and seconded by two MWF members using the nomination form here
  • send a brief typed CV stating name, brief career resume, MWF membership and service
  • send a brief personal statement which includes confirmation of willingness to serve (1-side A4 maximum)

If there is more than one candidate, ballot papers will be sent out to council to elect to the post.

Eligibility: Please note the position is open to all qualified doctors who are MWF members. We would very much like to encourage enthusiastic members to apply for the above position. Support will be given and previous similar experience is not essential.

Council Vacancies

 We are inviting nominations for Council Members to take office at the end of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2023, for a 3-year term of office (2023 – 2026). Council members are needed in the following regions:

  • London x2
  • East Midlands
  • North West
  • Yorkshire and Humber
  • North East
  • South East

Junior Doctor Representatives

We are inviting applications for Junior Doctor Representatives to take office at the end of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2023, for a 3-year term of office (2023 – 2026). Representatives are needed in the following regions:

  • London
  • East Midlands
  • South East
  • Northern Ireland
  • Scotland

To apply, please send a typed CV – 1 side A4 maximum stating name, brief career resume, along with a brief personal statement (max 500 words) detailing what you want to achieve in this role is to be sent to MWF Central Office by the advertised deadline.
