Medical Women’s Federation manifesto asks:
The Medical Women’s Federation (MWF) is the largest organisation of women doctors and medical students in the UK. Women doctors comprise 49.3% of licenced registered doctors. We are a vital component of the medical workforce. We ask that the following issues are considered in all of the political party’s election pledges:
- Reduce the gender pay gap in medicine, which is high for a single professional group.
- Support, flexible working for doctors who are parents or have caring responsibilities.
- Reduce sexism, bullying and harassment in the workplace
- Support SAS doctors as outlined in #SASsix
- Improve the health of women, children and young people
